Hotels
A block of rooms is available at the Glendale Hilton for Friday and Saturday nights, the 23rd and 24th, at a rate of $119 per night.  A limited number of rooms is also available at that rate for Thursday and Sunday nights.  The rooms will be held only until September 9, so please book by then.  You can reserve by following this link, or by calling 818-956-5466.  Make sure you give group code 650 (or give our names).  Workers at the Glendale Hilton are represented by UNITE HERE Local 11.

For the sake of simplicity, we hope that everyone will stay at the Glendale Hilton.  But if you want other options, here is a list of other union properties-- as well as a list of properties to avoid.  (Be aware, though, that there is an AARP gathering in L.A. this same weekend, taking up many of the city's hotel rooms.)  Specifically, some other good options include the Pasadena Hilton, and several hotels downtown: the Biltmore, the Bonaventure, Holiday Inn, JW Marriott, LA Marriott, the Ritz-Carlton and the Wilshire Grand.  If you want to stay in Hollywood, some good options are the Renaissance and the W.

Out of town guests are also invited to join us for dinner on Friday evening and brunch on Sunday.  Both meals will be at Trofi, the hotel restaurant.

Transportation
Here are some maps, in case you're unfamiliar with Los Angeles.  The wedding is in Eagle Rock, which is in Northeast L.A.  The Glendale Hilton is three miles to the west.

We strongly suggest flying into Bob Hope Burbank Airport.  It's much smaller than LAX, more easy to navigate, and it's much closer to the hotel.  The downside is that it tends to be more expensive to fly into than LAX.  But the hotel does have a shuttle from Burbank (not from LAX).

Parking at the hotel costs $10 per day (as long as you give the group code).

Parking at the Art Center is free if you park in the lot for the neighboring Bank of America.  The B of A is a half-block west of the Art Center, on the same side of the street, at 2263 Colorado Boulevard.
